‘He will score a 60 ball-Hundred’: Yuvraj Singh BOLD prediction for THIS player ahead of India vs Pakistan in Dubai

New Delhi: Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, is back to his vintage best. While his Test career might be in jeopardy, he remains a formidable force in ODIs. Following a series of low scores in Test cricket, questions arose about his performance in the ICC Champions Trophy, but he has silenced all doubts. Rohit smashed a blistering 76-ball century against England in the second ODI and followed it up with a fiery 41 off 36 balls against Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy opener.

Rohit would be eyeing to make a bigger impact against Pakistan but the challenge will be stiffer against Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.

Before the highly anticipated clash, former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh made a bold prediction, stating that if Rohit Sharma is in form, he will score a century in just 60 balls. Yuvraj emphasized that Rohit has no evident weakness against fast bowlers and, if he gets going, he can single-handedly secure victory for India.

“If he’s in form, he will score a century in 60 balls. That’s his quality—once he gets going, he’s not just hitting fours; he’s clearing the ropes with sixes. He is also one of the best players of the short ball. Even if someone bowls at 145-150 kmph, Rohit has the ability to hook it effortlessly. His strike rate is always between 120-140, and on his day, he can single-handedly win you the game, Yuvraj said on a special episode of JioHotstar’s Greatest Rivalry Returns.

While Rohit Sharma is back to his best, veteran Virat Kohli has yet to find his rhythm. Kohli’s form remains a concern for the Men in Blue, but Yuvraj Singh believes that regardless of form, players like Rohit and Virat will always be match-winners for India.

“Rohit Sharma, whether in form or out of form, it doesn’t matter to me. I would always back my match-winners. In ODI cricket, especially in white-ball formats, he has been India’s biggest match-winner as a batsman, alongside Virat Kohli. If Rohit is struggling but still gets runs, that’s dangerous for the opposition,” he added.
Rohit Sharma has a great record against Pakistan. In 19 ODIs, the Indian captain has scored 873 runs at an average of 51.35 and an average of 92.38, with two centuries and eight fifties.
