New Delhi: Sheldon Jackson concluded his List A career with a total of 2792 runs from 84 innings, boasting an average of 36.25. Additionally, the wicket-keeper batter accumulated 1812 runs from 80 T20 matches, which includes nine appearances for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.

Saurashtra’s experienced wicketkeeper-batter, Sheldon Jackson, has officially announced his retirement from white-ball cricket.

Sheldon Jackson, who played in 86 List A matches, scored a total of 2792 runs, including nine centuries and 14 fifties. He played a key role in Saurashtra’s victorious campaign in the 2022-23 Vijay Hazare Trophy season.

In T20s, Sheldon Jackson scored 1812 runs from 84 matches, including one century and eleven half centuries.

Saurashtra Cricket Association president Jaydev Shah, in a statement, said: “His dedication, hard work, and exceptional performances over the years have made him a key player for Saurashtra. His commitment and passion for cricket in each format have been a true testament to the spirit of the game. As he bids farewell to the white-ball formats, his contributions will continue to inspire countless budding cricketers.”

Jackson, however, will continue to be available for red-ball cricket.
