New Delhi: Almost all students who are appearing for their class 12 board examinations have their dreams and aspirations to take admission in a prestigious institute or a university to pursue higher studies. These depend on the field of their interest like science, medicine, or arts.

This year, IIT Indore’s five students secured annual packages exceeding Rs 1 crore. This is a historic feat for the prestigious institute.

Compared to the previous year, the 2024 placement season at IIT Indore has shown significant progress as while in 2023 only one student secured a one crore-plus package, this year even the minimum packages have seen substantial rise. More than 88% of students have got employment and more than 500 job offers have been made since December 1, 2024.

With its rich and powerful legacy, IIT Indore is among the first choices of employers as this time it attracted over 150 reputed companies, including public sector undertakings, from sectors such as IT, core engineering, fintech, automobile, energy, environment, consulting, banking, semiconductors, and construction.

Increments

The employees from IIT Indore have been reported to receive an average salary package increment of 13%, making it Rs 27 lakh per annum. These figures speak for themselves about the skills, expertise, and future of the IIT Indore graduates across industries.

Future plans

IIT Indore has signed 118 MoUs across 34 countries. Its community of over 3,000 students and 220 faculty members make sure to keep the flag flying high.
