‘Appreciate all the love…’: Rishabh Pant breaks silence after missing out on 5th India vs England Test due to…

New Delhi: The fourth Test played between India and England in Manchester ended in a draw on Sunday. Although the match was officially a draw, it was no less than a victory considering the struggle and performance of the Indian team. But on the same day, BCCI gave a big news, which disappointed the fans. The BCCI informed on Sunday night that wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will not be able to play in the fifth and final Test of the series due to injury. N Jagdishan has been included in the Indian team in his place. After this news, Pant shared his words with the fans by making an emotional post on social media.

Pant’s emotional message on Instagram

Rishabh Pant shared a picture of himself and wrote, I am grateful for all the love and good wishes I have received. It has really been a source of strength for me. As soon as my fracture heals and I get used to the process, I will start rehab. I will be patient, follow the routine and give my 100 percent. Playing for the country has been the proudest moment of my life, and I am eager to do the same again.”

Made a blast with the bat on the England tour

Pant’s performance in this series has been excellent. He scored a total of 479 runs in seven innings of four Test matches against England at an average of 68.42 and a strike rate of 77.63. During this, he also scored three half-centuries and two centuries. Pant made the Test matches exciting by playing shots in his natural style.

Showed passion despite injury

Pant is the third highest run-scorer in this Test series so far. During the first innings of the fourth Test, he was hit on his toe by a ball, due to which he was seriously injured and had to retire hurt. Despite this, when needed, he came out to bat the next day and scored an important half-century.
