Mohammed Siraj’s rumoured girlfriend Mahira Sharma was asked about her favourite cricketer in a video which went viral on social media.

Team India and Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj maybe out of action from international cricket for a while now but it is his ‘off-field’ news which is keeping him busy. Siraj is rumoured to be dating TV actress and former Bigg Boss participant Mahira Sharma.
According to media reports, Siraj and Mahira Sharma are supposed to be ‘romantically involved’. On Wednesday, in a video which went viral on social media, Mahira Sharma was asked by the papparazi about her ‘favourite cricketer’ and her reactions to the question added fuel to already brewing fire of reported links between the couple.
“Aapka favourite cricketer kaun hai?” a paparazzi is heard asking in the video. Mahira was stumped by the question at first and then turns back towards the cameraman and asked, “Kya?” The actress blushed and smiled before leaving.

Both Siraj and Mahira Sharma have neither confirmed nor denied that they are in a relationship. But Mahira’s mother called the new completely false, saying, “People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them?” Mahira’s mother told Times Now channel.
Mahira Sharma was previously dating Paras Chhabra after the couple met for the first time in Bigg Boss 13 house and fell in love with each other. However, they parted ways in 2023.
Siraj was not selected in the original squad for the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He is one of the non-travelling reserves of the squad.
Youngster Harshit Rana got the nod ahead of Mohammed Siraj for the Champions Trophy after his indifferent form in India’s Test series loss to Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series.
Earlier this month, Siraj made a spiritual journey to Masjid Al Haram in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025 which got underway last week. Team India have booked their place in the semifinal stage with impressive wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan in their first two matches in Dubai on February 20 and 23.
Rohit Sharma’s side will take on New Zealand in their third Group A match in Dubai on Sunday (March 2) before playing in the first semifinal match on March 4 in Dubai.
