It has been truly said that hard work is the key to success. No dream is too big and no goal is unattainable if you are prepared to work hard, keep trying, and keep focused. One such person is Dipanshi. Hailing from Banaras, Dipanshi proved that passion and hard work make every goal achievable.
While studying, she has received an opportunity to work at Microsoft, even as she’s yet to complete her B.Tech degree. It is to be noted that Microsoft is one of the world’s biggest tech companies.
Dipanshi hails from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and is currently enrolled in a B.Tech in Information Technology program at Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad. Speaking about her educational qualification, she studied at St. John’s School in Varanasi. Later, she got into IIIT Allahabad due to her good performance in the Class 12 ICSE board exam.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Dipanshi is pursuing her Bachelor of Technology, B.Tech, Information Technology, at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad.
Dipanshi is currently in the pre-final year of B.Tech in Information Technology stream at IIIT Allahabad. Generally, most tech giants including Microsoft and Google do hire B.Tech students from premier institutions, who a majority of those are pursuing a degree in Computer Science. However, Dipanshi has secured an offer at Microsoft from IT branch, which is the only exception in her case and makes her achievement more commendable.
Sharing a post on LinkedIn, Dipanshi wrote,”I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as SWE Intern at Microsoft!”
He LinkedIn bio reads, “I am currently a pre-final year B.Tech student in Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. As an enthusiastic learner and problem-solver, I am motivated by the opportunity to create impactful solutions to real-world challenges.”

Dipanshi started her journey with Microsoft as a Software Engineering (SWE) Intern in May 2025, working in the company’s Karnataka office. During her time there, she accumulated valuable hands-on experience by participating in real-time projects and improving her technical and professional skills at one of the largest tech companies in the world. Based on her LinkedIn profile, she now continues to hold an internship with Microsoft.
