AILET 2026 Registration: The registration window for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 is now open. Details of the registration for the law exam were announced by the National Law University (NLU) Delhi on August 7. Students can fill out the application forms by November 10, as the window closes after that. The exam is going to be held nationwide across various states and cities.
Interested candidates must be eligible to apply for the exam with a minimum qualification mark, depending on the basis of their background and course. Students can complete their registration process through a direct registration link provided below.
Candidates eligible for AILET 2026 exam
The AILET 2026 follows simple eligibility criteria. If someone’s applying for their undergraduate (UG) course, they must have secured 45 per cent aggregate in the Class 12 exams. For candidates belonging to the OBC and SC/ST categories, the minimum percentages are 42 per cent and 40 per cent, respectively.
To apply for the LLM Non-Residential Programme of 1 year, eligible candidates must possess an LLB or another relevant law degree with at least 50 per cent. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and with disabilities, the minimum qualification stands at 45 per cent.
Registration fee for AILET 2026 exam
The application fee for eligible candidates for the AILET 2026 exam is Rs 3000. For SC/ST students and those with disabilities, the application fee is Rs 1000. Alongside, persons belonging to the SC/ST category and women who fall under the category of BPL (Below Poverty Line) are not liable to pay any application fee. Possible centres for AILET 2026 exam
The AILET 2026 exam is expected to be conducted in the cities of Ahmedabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gorakhpur, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Jamshedpur, Haldwani, Hisar, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
Candidates must select 3 cities as per their preference. Test cities with fewer than 100 students may get cancelled, and the student will be given the centre in the city of second or third preference.
