Afterward, an unusual silence hung between Hardik and Shastri, as Hardik bypassed the usual handshake and approached Shastri directly.
Shubman gill involved in ego war with Hardik Pandya 🤪 Hardik tried to shake his hands but Shubman didn’t because of his fragile ego that too in front of the one who made his t20 career.

Following the coin toss, Mumbai Indians’ batting coach, Kieron Pollard, demonstrated a firm handshake with captain Hardik Pandya, seemingly offering an example of proper sportsmanship.
Hardik Panda won the toss and elected to bat for his team in Mullanpur. Mumbai Indians’ openers, Rohit Sharma and Jonny Bairstow, capitalized on the powerplay, providing a solid foundation for their innings with scores of 81 and 47 runs respectively.
At the end of 20 overs, Mumbai Indians reached a massive score of 228 runs at the loss five wickets.
Despite several errors in both batting and fielding, the Titans’ strong performance, particularly Sudharsan’s impressive 80 runs from 49 balls, allowed them to remain competitive until the very end. However, their final score of 208 for six proved insufficient, resulting in their elimination from the tournament.
Mumbai Indians secured key moments in their match, advancing them to Qualifier 2 against the Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
