Siraj’s background and struggles on the field
The second day of the Leeds Test was quite disappointing in terms of bowling for India pacer Mohammad Siraj. In their initial spell they proved to be rather expensive. Though he beat the batsman several times and when took swing out of the ball, he had no success.

Only Jasprit Bumrah managed to take wickets for India on the second day. Thanks to his 3 crucial wickets, England ended the day at 209/3. England are still 262 runs behind India’s first innings score and it will be a big chance for the Indian bowlers to make a comeback on the third day.
