The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the Marking Scheme (MS) and Sample Question Paper (SQPs) for students of class 10th and class 12th of the academic year 2025-2026. Along with the release of MS and SQPs, the Board has further clarified that there will be no changes in the assessment pattern for the current academic year.
“The Board issues Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for classes X and XII to provide a broad template and serve as a guide for ensuring uniformity and proper coverage of the curricula.” CBSE stated in its official circular.
How to Download
For the convenience of the candidates, we have provided the steps through which you can download the sample papers and marking scheme:
- Step 1. Go to the official CBSE website – cbseacademic.nic.in.
- Step 2. On the Homepage, click on the “CBSE Sample Paper 2026” notice.
- Step 3. You will be redirected to a new tab with a pdf file displayed.
- Step 4. Select the Sample paper according to your class from the links provided.
- Step 5. Click on your required resource from the list of subjects and the SQP and MS displayed.
- Step 6. Download your desired resource and keep a hard copy for future.
