Team India suffered
Not only Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj was also seen struggling with injury. When Team India took the new ball, both the bowlers got injured at the same time. Morkel said that due to this the team got into trouble. After taking the new ball, Bumrah went out in one over and returned late, while Siraj also had to return to the dressing room.
Dominance of England batsmen
By the end of the third day, England had scored 544 runs and only 7 wickets fell. England played a total of 135 overs. Out of these, Bumrah bowled 28 overs and took one wicket for 95 runs. Siraj also got a wicket but he gave 113 runs.
Other bowlers also remained dull
Other Indian fast bowlers also could not impress. Anshul Kamboj took 1 wicket for 89 runs in 18 overs, while Shardul Thakur gave 55 runs in 11 overs and could not take any wicket. The Indian pace attack looked completely pale against England.
